We make kids happy too! This is a basement playroom we just finished in Aldie.

We do more than just kitchens! We also finish basements, remodel and build new bathrooms, game rooms, wet bars, wine cellars and do custom trim work including wainscoting and shiplap.

Just one of the finishing touches, floating wall shelves, for this kitchen remodel in South Riding. Love it when the job all starts to come together. My customer wasted no time getting these decorated for Christmas.

What started out as "just a makeover" spiraled wonderfully out of control with a complete redesign into this beautiful gourmet kitchen with top of the line appliances, multiple work staions, ample seating and storage for anything and everything.

About Kitchens by Design

When the time comes to remodel your kitchen, bathroom and
basement etc. the process of finding and hiring a reliable contractor can be stressful. After all, who has not heard the horror stories about the industry? Fortunately, there is a solution, Kitchens by Design. Where I will personally provide the quality service and craftsmanship homeowners like you are looking for. I will design, estimate and address all issues and concerns throughout the remodeling process. I am an accredited Kitchen and Bath designer. I do not employ sales people; you will always deal directly with me from start to finish. I have been in the construction industry for over 30 years specializing in Kitchen and Bath remodeling. I am a Virginia Class A contractor.
I will be on your job everyday!

The Process:
When we first meet I will present you with all the documentation needed for proof of licensing, Liability insurance coverage etc. I will also provide a current reference list with the names and phone numbers of every project we have completed for at least the last 18 months. If I have older references in your particular neighborhood I can provide those as well. Most of my clients are more than happy to have you visit there homes to see the work in person.

One large advantage of using Kitchens by design is the speed in which your project will be completed. Our full kitchen remodeling takes only 3 to 4 weeks on average. The key here is that unlike most contractors in the area, we only work on one job at a time. We will be at your home working on your project everyday until it is complete! My references will verify this.

How qualified are the people that perform the work?
Kitchens by Design have been using the same tradesman for electrical, plumbing and tile work for the over 20 years, some since our business first began in 1987. Our craftsmen have over 25 years experience in carpentry and kitchen installation. I personally oversee every job daily to assure the quality workmanship I have promised.

What about the estimate?
When you call Kitchens by Design we can schedule a convenient time to meet and discuss your specific project in detail. While at your house I will take measurements, discuss cabinetry choices, accessories, lighting and appliances. I will set up a time to return with a detailed proposal and computer image designs so that you can visualize your project before it begins

Kitchens By Design offers a 2 year guarantee covering labor and workmanship. You will receive manufacturer guarantees on appliances, cabinetry and flooring.
